Every Poésie bridal dress is designed and made in our atelier using luxury natural-fibre fabrics, thoughtful craftsmanship, and time-honoured techniques. Each gown begins with a sketch and ends with a final fitting - brought to life through creativity, care, and a deep love of the craft. Refined simplicity, elegant silhouettes, and romantic detailing define the Poésie bridal aesthetic.
THE EXPERIENCE
The bespoke process is a collaboration between the designer and the bride.
Each stage is carefully considered to ensure that your dress is not only beautiful, but also feels personal and unique to you. It begins with a design consultation, the perfect opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your wedding plans and vision for the dress so that there is a clear understanding for the all-important bridal sketches. Following our consultation, you’ll receive a bespoke design proposal with sketches, fabric suggestions and estimated quotations.
FITTINGS
Your gown is brought to life through two or more fittings in the Poésie atelier, based in Hampshire. Starting with a Toile Fitting, which is a prototype version of your dress in a sampling fabric. At this stage, we will critique the design and make any necessary adjustments to perfect the fit, proportions, and design details before cutting into your chosen luxury silk or lace for the final piece.
